SAADAA × OPTIPHOENIX: A SIZE SELECTION REDESIGN DROVE A 20% CONVERSION RATE UPLIFT

AlterCall’s mobile landing page is the first step in the funnel that eventually leads a prospect to book a call. The hero banner on this page used an image of Ryan alongside supporting stats, but the existing version was not giving those stats enough visual prominence to stand out and support the opt-in decision.

OptiPhoenix partnered with AlterCall to test whether refining the hero banner, changing the image and reducing the number of stats shown, would strengthen that first impression and move more prospects further into the funnel.
A hero banner has one job: give a prospect enough reason to opt in before they scroll past. When supporting stats are present but not prominent, they are doing less work than they could be.
Showing fewer stats with greater visual weight is a different bet than showing more stats with less prominence. The gap this test addressed was not about information, it was about how much attention that information actually received in the small space of a mobile hero banner.
OptiPhoenix proposed that updating the hero banner’s image and narrowing the supporting stats down to two, shown with greater prominence, would strengthen the landing page’s first impression and increase opt-ins along with downstream calendar page visits.

OptiPhoenix ran a controlled A/B test on AlterCall’s landing page, mobile only, over 12 days (11 to 24 December 2025), split 50/50.
Variant A (Original): The existing hero banner design, using Ryan’s image with supporting stats at standard prominence.
Variant B (Test): An updated hero banner with a revised image and only two stats shown, increasing their visual prominence.

Metrics measured: Opt-ins, Form Field Interaction, and Calendar Page visits across Non Qualified, Qualified, and Super Qualified segments.
A more focused hero banner moved more prospects through the top of the funnel and further downstream.

Opt-ins rose from 2.13% to 2.25%, a 5.7% increase. Form Field Interaction rose from 3.44% to 3.78%, a 9.87% increase. Among Super Qualified prospects, Calendar Page visits rose from 0.54% to 0.60%, an 11.99% increase. Qualified prospects saw Calendar Page visits rise from 0.41% to 0.48%, a 17.47% increase. Non Qualified prospects showed a smaller gain, with Calendar Page visits rising from 1.12% to 1.16%, a 4.18% increase.
The gains compounded as prospects moved deeper into the funnel. The smallest lift was at the very top, Opt-ins rose 5.7%, while Qualified Calendar Page visits rose 17.47%. A stronger first impression did not just get more people to opt in, it appears to have brought in prospects who were a better fit for what came next.
Fewer, more prominent stats can outperform more, smaller ones. Reducing the hero banner to two stats and increasing their visual weight was the only change made to this page, and it moved every metric measured in the same direction.
Segment-level tracking reveals where a change actually matters. The Qualified segment saw the largest lift by a clear margin, which tells AlterCall where this kind of first-impression change has the most downstream value.

AlterCall’s landing page was not failing to communicate its value, it was spreading that value across too many stats to let any of them stand out. By narrowing the hero banner to two prominent stats and refreshing the image, OptiPhoenix closed that gap, and prospects moved further into the funnel with more of them qualifying along the way.
